GENERAL HOTEL INFORMATION

Welcome in our beloved hotel! On this page you can find a lot of information about the hotel, outlets, in and around the city of Amsterdam. Of course all staff members are open for any question and help. We hope you have a pleasant and safe stay here in hotel ibis Amsterdam City West.

WI-FI

Stay connected with our free Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel. To connect please go to your Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device and choose “IBIS”. Soon there will open a browser which has three options, if not? Go to the internet browser and go to all.accor.com. Please choose the Free Wi-Fi option, fill in your E-mail and accept the conditions. Connect! Feel free to come to one of our staff members to help you.

FRONT DESK

Our lovely staff at the Front Desk is ready to help you 24/7. You can contact our staff by sending a message through WhatsApp or come by and let’s talk. We have all the information about the city, updated information for safety and protection rules in The Netherlands and we love to make reservations for you. At the Front Desk it is possible to rent a bike, buy tickets for tourist attractions or get you public transport tickets.

ROOMS

Every day we will come to the room to clean. If you do not want any cleaning service we advise you to put the ‘do not clean’ card in front of your door before 9 AM. Every day we change your towels, throw away rubbish and put your bed straight. On the 3rd day we will change everything. Personal hygiene and protection equipment has been provided for staff. Of course the “do not disturb”-option is available with regards to housekeeping. Please pick up any extra amenities sanitized and ready for use at the Front Desk.

Check out: U can use the rooms till 12 o’clock (noon). Still to early? No problem! You can have a late check-out on availability for 10,- euro per hour. The latest check-out time is 17 pm.
Any rubbish in your room? Please put it outside your room, so we can collect it for you.

NON-SMOKING/DRUGS POLICY

Cigarettes:

All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. In case we noticed that there has been smoked in the room the guest shall pay a penalty of €100,- this is also applicable if you cover or dismantle the smoke detector.

Drugs:

Please note that the use or possession of either soft- or hard drugs and even laughing gas are illegal. If we notice that any member of your party is using drugs, we will confiscate the substance and, if necessary, turn it over to the local police. For this occurrence the guest shall pay a penalty of €100,00 or we ask the guests to depart the hotel immediately.

BIKE RENTAL

The best way to explore and travel through the city is by bike! How typical Dutch! Of course you can rent a bike at our Front Desk. The price for the first 24h is only €16,-. After that the price is €14,- per day. It’s also possible to rent a bike for one or six hours
Please note that the All-Inclusive service is already included, so no worries on the road. For more information please ask our Front Desk staff.

TOURS & TICKETS

If you would like to book an excursion or attraction in Amsterdam AND other cities, please come to our Front Desk. Because we’re working together with Tours & Tickets Company we provide you the best prices and exclusive discounts. Together we can check which attractions are open and the times that are available, but u can also explore at https://www.tours-tickets.com/ with our free WI-FI. Please note that all the bookings need to be paid by credit cards only.

LAUNDRY SERVICE

Our laundry service is temporarily closed.. The hotel can help you to the nearest cleaning services. Please ask the front desk staff for more information.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT TICKETS

All the necessary measurements are taken by the local and regional transport providers & all services are running as usual. If you want to use the public transport a facemask is mandatory. We advise you to be like a Dutchman and get to know Amsterdam by bike. Transport tickets are available at the Front Desk.

SHOP ITEMS

Left your shaver or toothbrush at home? No problem we’ve got you covered! We sell raisers, toothbrushes, combs, shampoo, body lotion, face masks, card stamps and international plugs available.
